1. UK VAT

VAT Registration

APIDLY LTD is registered for VAT in the United Kingdom. VAT is charged at the standard UK rate of 20% on all supplies to UK customers unless an exemption applies.

B2B Customers (UK)

If you are a UK VAT-registered business, VAT will be charged at the standard rate of 20%. You can reclaim the VAT as input tax on your VAT return. Please ensure your VAT number is added to your account settings for proper invoicing.

B2C Customers (UK)

Individual consumers in the UK are charged VAT at the standard rate of 20%. All prices displayed on our website include VAT for UK consumers where applicable.

2. EU VAT

B2B Reverse Charge

For EU business customers with a valid VAT identification number, the reverse charge mechanism applies under Article 196 of the EU VAT Directive. You will not be charged UK VAT and are responsible for accounting for VAT under the reverse charge in your country.

B2C EU Customers

For EU consumers (non-business customers), VAT is charged based on the customer's country of residence under the EU VAT One Stop Shop (OSS) rules. The applicable VAT rate depends on your country.

VIES Validation

We validate EU VAT numbers through the VIES (VAT Information Exchange System) database. If your VAT number cannot be validated, standard VAT rates will apply. Please ensure your VAT number is correctly entered in your account.

3. US Sales Tax

Sales Tax Obligations

Sales tax may be applicable to purchases made by US customers depending on the state. We collect and remit sales tax in states where we have a tax obligation (economic nexus). The sales tax rate varies by state and locality.

Tax-Exempt Customers

If your organisation is tax-exempt (e.g., non-profit, government), please provide a valid tax exemption certificate to billing@apidly.com. We will apply the exemption to your account after verification.

4. International Taxes

Other Jurisdictions

For customers outside the UK, EU, and US, local taxes may apply based on your country's tax laws. We comply with applicable withholding tax, digital services tax, and consumption tax requirements in the jurisdictions where we operate.

Withholding Tax

If your country requires withholding tax on payments to foreign suppliers, the amount payable to us must be grossed up so that we receive the full invoiced amount after withholding. Please contact your tax adviser for guidance.

5. Invoicing

Automatic Invoices

Tax invoices are generated automatically for every payment and sent to your registered email address. You can also download invoices from your account settings under Billing.

Invoice Details

All invoices include: APIDLY LTD details and company number, your name and address (as provided), description of services, subscription period, applicable tax rates and amounts, total amount charged, and payment method used.

Custom Invoicing

Enterprise customers can request custom invoicing arrangements including purchase orders, NET 30/60/90 payment terms, and consolidated invoicing. Contact billing@apidly.com for details.

6. Currency & Pricing

Pricing Currency

Our prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) by default. Depending on your location, you may also see prices in GBP, EUR, or other local currencies. The currency charged depends on your payment method and billing settings.

Exchange Rates

If your payment method uses a different currency from the charged currency, your bank or payment provider may apply exchange rate conversions and fees. We are not responsible for any currency conversion charges imposed by your financial institution.
