1. Our Commitment
Accessibility Standards
Apidly is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We regularly review and improve our platform's accessibility. Our development team includes accessibility as a core requirement in every feature specification.
Legal Compliance
We comply with the UK Equality Act 2010, the EU Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102), and Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act where applicable.
2. Accessibility Features
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements on our platform are accessible via keyboard. You can navigate the entire application using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys. Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements.
Screen Reader Support
Our platform is compatible with popular screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), and TalkBack (Android). We use semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and proper heading hierarchy to ensure screen readers can interpret our content.
Visual Accessibility
We maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text (WCAG AA). Our colour scheme does not rely on colour alone to convey information. Dark mode is available for users who prefer reduced brightness.
Content Accessibility
All images include descriptive alt text. Form inputs have associated labels. Error messages are clearly communicated. Page titles and headings follow a logical hierarchy.
3. Known Limitations
Areas Under Improvement
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some areas of our platform may have accessibility limitations that we are actively working to address. We prioritise fixes based on user impact and frequency of use.
Third-Party Content
Some third-party content embedded in our platform (such as payment forms from Stripe or authentication screens from Clerk) may have their own accessibility characteristics. We work with these providers to ensure the best possible experience.
4. Assistive Technology Compatibility
Tested Environments
We test with: NVDA with Chrome and Firefox on Windows, JAWS with Chrome on Windows, VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS, TalkBack with Chrome on Android. We aim to support the two most recent versions of each browser and assistive technology combination.
Text Resizing
Our platform supports text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. We use responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and zoom levels.
5. Feedback & Contact
Reporting Accessibility Issues
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us at accessibility@apidly.com. Include: a description of the issue, the page or feature affected, the assistive technology you are using (if applicable), and your preferred method of contact. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days and provide a resolution or workaround within 10 business days.
Alternative Formats
If you need information in an alternative format (large print, audio, etc.), please contact accessibility@apidly.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Enforcement Procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility complaint, you can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) in England and Wales, the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (ECNI), or the Scottish Human Rights Commission (SHRC).
We want to hear from you. Report accessibility barriers so we can fix them.
